The lovers of outdoor activities find next to the river beach a tennis court and a game pitch as well as several walking paths that pass through points of geological interest integrated in Naturtejo Geopark. Xistocamping also offers you adventure experiences that you can book in advance.
The beach has an extensive beach with access ramps for people with reduced mobility. During the bathing season, the beach is supervised by the ISN (Ligeguards’ Portuguese Authority), water quality monitored and the “accessible beach – beach for all” flag awarded by the National Institute for Rehabilitation, the Portuguese Environment Agency and Tourism of Portugal.
Among the facilities around the park and the beach you will find the X Bar, a picturesque space to support the campsite and beach with outdoor terrace. This is the ideal place to snack and chat with the rumour of the river waters in the background.
